Privacy Policy

This site (cloudcareerlab.com) is operated by Cloud Career Lab as a storefront for digital cloud interview-prep products and free resources. References to "we", "us", or "the site" mean the same thing.

We keep the data we collect to the minimum we need to deliver the service:

• Name & email address — provided when you subscribe on the resources page or when you complete a purchase. Used to send your download links, transactional emails, and (if you subscribed) periodic updates about new resources.
• Order & payment metadata — product purchased, amount, currency, Razorpay order/payment IDs, status. We do not see or store your card details — these are handled directly by Razorpay, our payment processor.
• Anonymous usage analytics — page views, referrers, country, device type via Vercel Analytics. No cookies are used and visitors are not personally identified.
• Server logs & error reports — standard request logs and error traces (via Sentry) for keeping the site reliable. Personally-identifying information is filtered out of error reports by default.

• To process your purchase, generate download links, and send confirmation emails.
• To resend your download links if you ever lose them (via the /download page).
• To send you the welcome email and a short series of follow-ups if you subscribed on the resources page.
• To send occasional product updates if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To diagnose technical issues and improve the site.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with any third party for marketing purposes.

• Razorpay — payment processing
• Supabase — database and file storage
• Vercel — site hosting and analytics
• Resend — transactional and broadcast email delivery
• Sentry — server-side error monitoring

Each of these is a reputable, contracted service provider acting on our behalf. They process data only to provide their service and are bound by their own privacy commitments.

• Orders & payment metadata: retained indefinitely for accounting, tax, and so you can re-download your purchase later.
• Lead/subscriber data: retained until you ask us to remove it or until 24 months of inactivity, whichever is sooner.
• Server logs: typically rotated within 30 days.
• Error reports: retained for 90 days.

You can ask us at any time to:

• Confirm what data we hold about you (right of access).
• Correct anything that's wrong (right of rectification).
• Delete your data (right of erasure) — except where we're legally required to keep it (e.g., tax records of completed purchases).
• Unsubscribe from any email list at any time.

We use HTTPS everywhere, store secrets in encrypted environment variables, protect access to the database with row-level security, and require two-factor authentication on every administrative account. No system is perfect, but we treat your data with the same care we'd expect for our own.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, emailing subscribers.
